Pasetsky’s Predictions

On Monday, I introduced my new column “Pasetsky’s Predictions” where I attempt to call the covers of the major celebrity glossies.   To see if the magazine’s editors took my advice, check out the bolded comments after the jump.

Welcome to my new column - Pasetsky’s Predictions!

Every Monday, I’ll predict the potential MAIN cover topics you’ll see on the upcoming celebrity weeklies.  (All the celeb weeklies are frantically closing their issues today — while People closes Tuesday night.)

There’s a ton of news in the world of celebrity - from the sudden, tragic passing of Heath Ledger to Angelina Jolie  possibly having twins.   Here are my projections for this week’s MAIN cover topics:

- Heath Ledger - Expect to see at least one cover focus on Michelle Williams and daughter Matilda — “The moment Michelle found out” is a possible main line.   Also look for one of the weeklies to focus on Mary-Kate and ask the question “What Mary-Kate Knows (THIS IS THE EXACT COVER LINE FOR IN TOUCH WEEKLY) about Heath Ledger’s Death!”   Finally, one weekly may take a risk (he’s already on the cover of last week’s People and EW) and focus solely on Heath (EXACTLY WHAT US WEEKLY DID) and go much deeper into the details of his passing using a line like “Heath’s Death — It’s worse than anyone expected!”

- Angie’s Pregnant? - Reports are circulating that Angelina is pregnant and her appearance at the S.A.G. Awards wearing a “tent” like dress did nothing to stop those rumors.   I predict one of the weeklies — perhaps Star - which broke the story to go with “It’s Twins!.” (CLOSE ON THIS ONE.   IT’S THE SUB LINE)   Another weekly may go with ”Is Angelina Really Pregnant” or  ”Angie Looks Pregnant!” or even “Yes, Angie’s Pregnant!”

- Britney and Jamie Lynne -  Good news for both of the Spears’ girls.  I do not expect to see them as a main image on any of the celebrity weekly covers this week!    (THEY DIDN’T APPEAR ON THE GLOSSIES BUT THEY DID APPEAR ON THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER)
