Who Won Last Night’s Debate?

How Newsweek Picked Its Winner Weeks Ago!obamahillary.jpg

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton faced off last night in Los Angeles in one of the most important debates of this campaign.

Prior to the debates, Newsweek had their own Democratic candidate face-off with one cover for Barack and one for Hillary.   I believe that this is an example of how editors show their bias without even realizing it.

On the left, I see a charismatic, humane Barack Obama looking to his “change” quote.   On the right, I see a Hillary Clinton that appears uncomfortable and almost stone faced.  They feature a much less profound quote as well.   Does Newsweek favor Barack!   It looks that way to me!  What do you think?

Hillary’s picture is not flattering. It looks like Barack is more relaxed. Better pictures are needed. Newsweek shows a more favorable picture of Barack

I think they could have chosen better pictures of the candidates.

I know there are sublimited messages here but don’t know what they are?

HILLARY IS THE LEADER OF CHANGE, HAVING WORKED AS FIRST LADY AND A SENATOR. OBAMA DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THE OPPOSING SIDE. HILLARY HAS SHOWN THAT SHE CAN. THEREFORE, I FEEL THAT HILLARY SHOULD HAVE THE CAPTION-WOMAN FOR CHANGE!

I think the magazine editors knew exactly what they were doing.
Shame on them!

I agree with Michael’s comment and Esther’s, and Mark hit it on the mark when he said that Newsweek favors Barack.

There is no doubt. Newsweek has chosen its candidate, without so much as an explanation.
