Pasetsky’s Celebrity Weekly Predictions

More Brangie, More Heath, and, Unfortunately, More Britney!

It’s Monday and all the celebrities weeklies close their issues today (except People, which closes Tuesday).

Celebrity editors had the weekend to reflect on the big stories of the week and think about how they can top last weeks covers (see above).    It’s also time for me to predict this week’s big stories (I was on the mark last week.  Click here and you’ll see how some of the weeklies took may have taken my suggestions to heart).

After the jump are my predictions for the main story topics for this upcoming week!

BRITNEY SPEARS – Despite my plea to the celebrity weekly editors to keep Britney off the covers this week as well as inside their magazines, I predict two major Britney covers.   Potential lines: ” Inside Britney’s Mental Illness” and, sadly, ”Britney’s Suicidal!”  Jamie Lynn is enjoying a bit of privacy right now because of Britney’s tragic situation.   How is this family handling all of this drama?

BRAD & ANGELINA — As I stated last week, I expect People to secure the “Angelina Is Pregnant” story and use it for their full cover.  The last time Angelina was pregnant with Shiloh, she provided the visual exclusive to People.   To date, Angelina has still not officially confirmed her pregnancy.

BABY COVER – One weekly could try a baby cover, e.g. one with a full photo of Shiloh or Suri.  A Shiloh one would make sense because the weeklies will have a hard time figuring out how to follow-up the Angie preggers story!   The other option is a baby themed cover with Angie, J. Lo and Gwen, which is always a safe bet on the newsstand!

HEATH LEDGER –Look for one Mary-Kate Olsen or Michelle Williams as the main cover image.  (A combo of the two women is another option).  Either way, the Heath Ledger story will be an inset on all the major glossies.
