ARE YOU WATCHING HER SHOW DIRT?

I was of course looking forward to seeing the new season of Dirt starring Courteney Cox as Lucy - that crazy, mean-spirited editor-in-chief who got stabbed by a celebrity at the end of last season.

So far, I’m disappointed.

Of course, Lucy survives after being in a coma for two weeks.  When she wakes up, the first thing she asks about is the cover.   She then starts editing the magazine from her hospital bed.  How wacko!

The show added a hot guy who met Lucy in the hospital, but he has no love interest yet.  What are they waiting for?

Crazy photographer guy is on meds, yet isn’t so crazy.  Translation - not as fun to watch.

At least they got rid of Lucy’s creepy looking boss - you know, the one with the goatee.  (He was on the show but on a very limited basis.)

Last week’s episode was particularly bad.  The writers used the whole “rip news from the real celebrity headlines” technique.  And they use it way to much.

I’ll still give this show a chance, of course.  Are you going to?
