You can tell a lot about a magazine’s audience by who the editor selects for its cover.
And National Enquirer is clearly the geezer magazine in the weekly category!
I wonder if they’ll try to make it younger like our friends at People Magazine.
Anyhow, speaking of older women…
Oprah looks huge and and the National Enquirer connects her latest weight gain to her relationship showdown with Stedman. Ahh! Now Oprah’s an emotional eater. Let us forget about that whole thyroid thing. Regardless, it is a strong picture and maybe Perel was inspired by Tony Frost’s picture from last week’s Globe.
Demi Moore is preggers! I’ve seen this story a gazillion times, which means I do not believe it at all.
Nicole Kidman’s “BABY IN DANGER.” Did Nicole cross the street without looking both ways? Is Nicole eating sushi? Did Nicole do botox? Ok, I digress! ”BABY IN DANGER” is a line that seems acceptable to simply throw on any woman who is over 40 and pregnant. It has been used more than a gazillion times.
Bottom line: Old people will pick up this magazine!
