(Yup, It’s Eliot Spitzer with his pants down on cover of The New Yorker)
The 2008 National Magazine Awards’ finalist were announced today.
According to WWD, “Dave Remnick’s New Yorker and Adam Moss’ New York, stalwarts of recent years, continued to lead with 12 and nine nominations, respectively. Graydon Carter’s Vanity Fair was strong with six nominations, followed by Jim Nelson’s GQ and Chris Johns’ National Geographic with five each. David Granger’s Esquire, which was nominated seven times last year and won once, did not have as much luck this year, with one nomination, for magazine section.”
