BRANGIE WEDDING GATE: WHY WOULD STAR SUPPORT IN TOUCH WEEKLY'S COVER?

Above is the cover of In Touch Weekly, which is currently on newsstands.

And as you may know, Star posted on Saturday that Brangie tied the knot, but retracted the story on Sunday.

The big question is why did Star release this info over the weekend?   The only thing it could do on the newsstand is support In Touch’s wedding cover.  At a quick glance, a typical buyer would hear the news and think that In Touch had the wedding story?

Star must have felt that the story would get out?  Or is Star Magazine feeling the pressure to deliver BIG traffic to its web site? 

Either way, Star finds itself at a credibility low right now because it rushed to post a false report and will have a hard time convincing the media the next time they have a big scoop!

Bottom Line: In Touch wins big time this week on the newsstand thanks to increase buzz around Brad & Angelina.
