DID BRAD & ANGELINA GET MARRIED THIS WEEKEND?

intouch4.jpg

Star Magazine is reporting that Brad & Angelina tied the knot this weekend in New Orleans while People Magazine is denying the report!

According to Star, Brangelina “tied the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony in the couple’s adopted city of New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday afternoon.”

People Magazine reports there was “no wedding.”

I hope Star is right cuz these two kids should be married!

LIFE & STYLE REVEALS HOW NICOLE RICHIE LOST THE WEIGHT!

lifeandstyle2.jpg

Earlier this week, I mentioned how disturbed I was that  Life & Style included the inset “Nicole…tells how she lost the weight.”

Why?  This is a woman who has battled weight issues for years and would the reader want to take weigh-loss advice from someone like her?

Anyhow, I have to admit I was curious so I thumbed through the magazine to find out the answer.

It’s not surprising that Miley Cyrus is under siege from the paps!

She’s front and center of three major teen mags and the celeb weeklies are starting to make her a prime target.

Poor thing!

MORE’S INSPIRATIONAL HELEN MIRREN COVER

more.jpg

Helen Mirren continues to defy age and this stunning photo of her on the cover of More magazine is no exception.

She tells the mag, “When you’re 16, you think 28 is old.  And then you get to 28 and it’s fabulous.  You think, then, what about 42?  UGH!  And then 42 is great.  As you reach each age, you gain the understanding you need to deal with it and enjoy it.”

Great advice and it’s clearly working for Helen who is 62!

AWARD: WIRED WINS “CLICHE COVER LINE OF THE DAY”

wire.jpg

Editor-in-Chief Chris Anderson selects the cover line Evil/Genius to describe Apple’s success.

My suggestion: How Apple Wins By Breaking All the Rules!

This is the description line used by Anderson on the top left of the cover.

This would have been a stronger main line because it actually tells the reader what the story is about and is specific.

j14.jpg

J-14 dives into teen hearthrobs’ spring flings!

Ashlee Simpson tells Janet Giovanelli’s J-14 “I’ve always like guys that have an inner geek….I’m an inner geek myself! So I don’t take myself so seriously.”

And even though Miley Cyrus is not with anyone right now, it’s essential to have her thoughts on Spring Flings.

Cyrus tells J-14 “I need to cast one!” She admits “I check imdb.com and go through new actors.”   If not an actor, Miley will turn to sports for her new man.  “I want an athlete - it’s the trend,” she says.

JOSE CANSECO’S NEW BOOK TO ATTACK BASEBALL

Vindicated

Jose Canseco has a second book coming out titled “Vindicated: Big Names, Big Liars and the Battle to Save Baseball,” names more names and makes more claims.  When asked if his motives have anything to do with money, he said “absolutely not.  My motive, and I will make it clear and I look you in the eyes, is to attack MLB. That’s my motive.”   (Huffington Post)
