At least that’s my guess!

This morning we reported that Brad Pitt is “taking a break” from his long time publicist Cindy Guangenti.  Angelina has never had a publicist and Brad figures he doesn’t need one either!

Who’s next?   

It’s about time that A-listers in Hollywood realize that they are wasting there money.   Why would someone like Jen Aniston, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie or J. Lo need a publicist?

Are they not smart enough to handle the tough questions asked by the monthly magazines? 

Here are some typical questions from the monthly magazine editors: 

• Oh Jen, your hair looks AMAZING!  How do you do it?
• Angelina, you are such a great world humanitarian and you are the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen.  Can I be you for a day?
• Brad - Your work in New Orleans is incredible.  How do you have time to have 4,  and soon 6 kids, f*(k spend time with Angelina and still look so hot?
• J. Lo - You’re twins are sooooooooo cute?  How does it feel to be a mom?

OK, you get my point!

As for the weeklies, most of the reps are basically denying or not responding to any questions that they are asked about the celebrities. 

Or, they lie to US Weekly and say that the other celeb weeklies got the story wrong.

Bottom line: Celebrity publicists for A-listers hold a useless position and you’ll watch more get the ax!

Now, for stars like Jennifer Love Hewitt, Tara Reid or former AI contestant Katherine McPhee – publicists are priceless!  I can’t think of any reason why any of these starlets would be covered by the celebrity media without a publicist annoying the press?
