READ IT or SKIP IT? TV GUIDE'S WHO'S IN? WHO'S OUT? COVER STORY

Before you purchase this issue of TV Guide based on the cover, let me share with you my thoughts on this week’s cover story!

There’s a large photo on the cover of Katherine Heigl, which would make any reader believe that they will be getting a solid story on whether or not she’s leaving the show.

Instead, you get a story that is no longer than a caption box.   In fact, here’s the entire story which is no more than 80 words!

Katherine Heigl — Out?  Maybe it’s the show’s impending post-strike return.  Maybe it’s the success of that movie with the dresses.  Or maybe it’s the recent tabloid story that said she wants to leave the show.  Whatever the reason, rumors that Heigl’s Grey’s days are numbered have staged a comeback in recent weeks.  But a well-placed Seattle Grace insider insists Heigl remains “under contract” and adds that there are “no plans or discussion” for her to exit the series for now.

This is what drove the editors at TV Guide to make Katherine Heigl the main cover image on this week’s TV Guide?  Are they kidding?  This is aggregious!

That disappointment aside, the cover story gets even worse!  The entire cover story is ONLY two pages.  What a joke!

Bottom Line:  PASETSKY SAYS SKIP IT!
