Carrie Underwood slimmed down since her days on American Idol - old story but still useful information!

How did she do it and keep off the weight?

Stephanie Saible’s Woman’s World says:

- Carrie returned to a “meat-free” diet.  According to the mag, our metabolism increases 16 percent more after a vegetarian meal than after a nonvegetarian one. 

- She gets on an “elliptical or a treadmill and walks for 30 minutes.”  

- Carrie writes down everything she eats so that she becomes more aware of what she eats.

- Finally, Carrie says “The CalorieKing book and website are my bible.”  She looks up food and sees how many calories are in them.
