Hi Mark:

I think what Linda’s post was trying to say is that your “predictions” often simply list ideas that appear on a regular basis in most of the weeklies – for example, a story that sympathizes with Angelina. Let’s look at the odds: she’s one of the biggest stars in the world and she’s pregnant. Of COURSE someone’s going to cover her – and of COURSE it’s going to be sympathetic.

But notice something else. NONE of the weeklies ran a major Gossip Girl story. Nor did they do a Carrie Underwood diet or a story based on “Angie Talks” or most other of your predictions.

So you’ll understand how it comes across as a little ridiculous when you take credit for the few stories you happen to get somewhere in the vast ballpark of correctness.

And, for the record, this is not an “angry” email – just one that would like to point out to you how others view your posts.

Thanks!

Hi Linda,
It sounds like you are very angry over this post. Why is that?

And I would have to disagree with your statement that I make vast generalizations. I recommend that you click on the link and see what I wrote.

Best,
Mark

"Looks like CoverAwards has some fans at Life & Style."

Or not.

Just because you make very vast generalizations it doesn't mean anyone is taking your advice or reading this site!

What a load of crap this site is.
