MARIA SHRIVER ON LIFE WITH ARNOLD THE GOVERNOR

Maria Shriver is everywhere this week from the View to the Today Show to the new cover of C Magazine - which covers California Style.

The former network journalist had a tough time adjusting to being first lady of California - especially since she is a Democratic and husband Arnold Schwarzennegger is a Republican.

What was Maria’s biggest adjustment?

However, they’ve struck a balance especially with Arnold’s pressure traveling between Sacramento and their home in Brentwood.

“I used to hassle him, to be home more,” she says.  “Now I try to let go…He has a tough, demanding job, and you have to understand that and back off.”

Shriver adds, “Besides, once I stopped hassling him, he made more of an effort to be home.”
