However, I will say the cover story demonstrates the highest level of creative writing I’ve seen in a while.
I mentioned that OK!’s big hook for this story was the fact that Angie was wearing a yellow dress.
Never in my wildest imagination would I think that they would actually use this as the hook for the story inside the magazine!
Here’s the intro paragraph for your morning entertainment:
“In a drastic departure from from her usual uniform of black clothing, a radiant Angelina Jolie was spotted heading to dinner at Marino….wearing a yellow free-flowing dress. And her new look may be signaling more than just a change in style. ‘Angie is in a really good place right now in her life,’ a friend of the actress tells OK!. ‘She’s got a lighter look, and lighter outlook [on life].”
“In fact, Angie’s change in mood has even extended to her views on marriage…”
BTW – this morning I’m wearing shorts this morning and my outlook on life has changed too. It’s amazing how that works!
