MILEY CYRUS CELEBRITY WEEKLY MYSTERY!
Last week before the Vanity Fair photo scandal, People magazine featured Miley Cyrus on its cover.
But this week – NOT ONE of the celebrity weeklies featured the scandal as its main cover story.
How could that be?
Here are some of my theories:
- Each editor thought that all the other magazine’s would do it so the editors each decided to counter program.
- The magazine’s realized that Miley is only 15 years-old and actually showed that they have a heart? (Very doubtful)
- People’s sales from last week were not so good?
- Editors could not figure out a sympathetic way of portraying the story.
Do you think the celebrity weeklies made a mistake by not featuring Miley Cyrus on their covers?
Would you have bought a celebrity weekly featuring Miley Cyrus?
(FYI – several of the weeklies did include Miley as an inset – but it’s the main cover that sells magazines.)

You forgot to mention the real (and most obvious) reason…BECAUSE IT’S NOT A BIG DEAL!!! A girl was coerced into a racy photo (that really wasn’t THAT racy), then got embarrassed when she saw the outcome. The only people making a huge deal out of this are internet bloggers who have nothing else scandalous enough to write about. Miley’s a good girl, and in the long-run this whole thing will be a minor blip on the radar.
