Buried deep in this issue of Life Story featuring the Jonas brothers is the following question & answer:
Life Story: I notice you’re all wearing rings on your left finger. What’s that about?
Kevin: It’s a promise to ourselves and God that we’ll be sexually pure until marriage. So it’s like a promise ring and it’s pretty awesome.
Nick:We really feel we want to be different and make a difference in the world, wo hopefully this is one way to do that.
This sounds like the pledge Britney Spears made several years ago!
Do you believe the Jonas brothers will keep their pledge?

I don’t get what the rave about these kids is, I’ve heard their music, and quite frankly it sucks. They just try to seem innocent for their plagued teen-age girl audience

thats soooo rude i know the jonas brothers personally and the do not break promise esspecially about some thing like this the are very passionate about there religion . and just because they are willing to keep a promise to god you critisize them you should be ashamed of yourselfs because staying sexualy pure is something that all of you people could learn from !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the jonas brothers are angels
i never really liked the jonas brothers music that much(just not my style) but when i heard that they wore promise rings, i got a whole new meaning for them! I think it is awesome that they agreed to be sexually pure until marriage! GREAT JOB JONAS BROTHERS!!
WOW!!! i think that is great!!! i already loved the Jonas Brothers, but that makes them better already!!!!!! that is such an awesome thing 2 do. and i think they are definently gonna make a difference in the way teens think about being sexually active… i know they have 4 me.
Oh My God, I cannot believe you guys are saying such rude things about them. I don’t personally know the Jonas Brothers but from what I do know, they will keep that promise. I think the Jonas Brothers are great – not many guys would make this promise. I admire the guy so much and quite frankly we need more guys like them in the world!!
