Star magazine’s photo director should win an award for finding this picture.
I’ve looked at this closely and even after staring at it for quite a bit I can’t tell if Angie’s pregnant or not in the pic.
So the pictures possibly old?
Doesn’t matter.
This cover will do extremely well on the newsstand.
The intro line “Angie Collapses” has been used many times - but it’s still dramatic.
The main line “Last Minute Panic” feels like this JUST HAPPENED. It’s the word “panic” that does it.
In this case, the main cover is so strong that the sidebar doesn’t really matter.
But, those insets are good as well.
Star couples a “nice” wedding story during prime wedding season with a wacky Oprah story and the buzzed about Clay Aiken baby story.
Bottom Line: This will be the biggest seller for Star this year. (It doesn’t hurt that we’re in summer.)
