Pasetsky’s Cover Critique

The guy had heart surgery. He campaigned non-stop for his wife for president. And he found the time to “cheat constantly on Hillary.”

Talk about stamina.

How does he get the energy?

He must be drinking a lot of Starbucks or even those Redline (Redbull times ten) drinks they sell at my gym. Plus - a little extra pill to keep things straight.

Anyhow - now that the Clintons aren’t taking over the world for the second time, it looks like the media is out to beat this story to death. Vanity Fair kicked it off and the National Enquirer is taking advantage of what is a hot story.

I don’t expect interest in this story to last for too long. Look how OLD Bill looks. Do readers really care about ex-presidents having affairs? Is that so surprising?

Bottom Line: The problem with this cover is that many of us already know that Gina Gershon is the alleged mistress - so the main line feels old. That will hurt this particular cover.
