Um…the Enquirer broke the Jesse Jackson affair story, and has always been one of the first to break scandals like this.

You still have the impression that they are a tabloid, when in fact they are more of a gossip rag…but their reporters are damn good at sniffing out scandal. The do deserve a bit of credit for that.
