Mark Pasetsky’s Tecktonik Media Announces Launch of GayQA.com

NEW YORK, NY – June 16, 2008 — Tecktonik Media, founded by Life & Style’s former Editor-in-Chief Mark Pasetsky, today announced the launch of GayQA.com (http://www.gayqa.com).

GayQA’s mission is to answer the biggest questions about today’s biggest gay and lesbian celebrities,” says Mark Pasetsky, Editorial Director, GayQA.com and Editorial Director, Tecktonik Media. “Our approach will be positive, upbeat and informative. We will also serve as the source for breaking news and events in the gay and lesbian community.”

Today’s news follows the successful 2008 launch of Tecktonik Media’s CoverAwards.com (http://www.coverawards.com), the fastest growing media site, and Shakiki.com, (http://www.shakiki.com), a new celebrity blog focusing on today’s biggest young Hollywood stars.

Prior to forming Tecktonik Media, Pasetsky served as Editor-in-Chief and General Manager of Life & Style Weekly for 3 1/2 years. Under Pasetsky’s direction, Life & Style was named the 2004 Magazine Launch of the Year and became the fastest growing magazine on newsstands in the country. In addition, Pasetsky had served as a consultant during the development stage for LOGO (http://www.logoonline.com), MTV Networks’ gay and lesbian television network.

Mara Siegler will be serving as GayQA’s managing editor.

Tecktonik Media (http//:www.tecktonikmedia.com) is headquartered in New York City.
