BARACK OBAMA VS. JOHN MCCAIN: WHO CAN KEEP AMERICA SAFE?

Excellent question on the cover of this issue of U.S. News & World Report.

Who do you think is best suited to protect the country?

Barack Obama or John McCain?

RON PAUL

Obviously the answer is McCain.
Obama is living in Lah Lah land if he really thinks he can negotiate with Iran and any other terrorists. Look what happened to Carter last month. They laughed their ass off at him for what he did and one day after his talk of a cease fire, Hammas blew up a mall theater in Israel.
These radical Muslims mean what they say…they are committed to destroying the U.S. We best have a President that has balls…not fairytale ideals.

why is safety the number 1 issue? how about.. who can make America respectable again?

Marc 17 Jun 2008 / 3:58 pm

It’s a bad question. There is an underlying assumption in it that Americans are all in great danger. The danger, to the extent it exists, is mostly of our own making. If the U.S. stops creating wars, begins to treat other nations with respect, and enforces reasonable border/port security, this question will go away.

It’s easy to say America is the cause of all its problems when you’re enjoying its comfortable standard of living, its freedoms, and its security. It’s an easy - and fallacious - mental masturbation exercise endulged in by liberals and ronbots.

Oh, be afraid be VERY afraid.
Our economy is going down the toilet. The dollar is falling to the Euro. First, the problem was food safety and now food affordability may be the problem.
However, we are supposed to be afraid of whatever the flavor of the month is in Boy George Bush’s fevered brain.
Bush already has lost the war on terror. Why would four more years of his failed policies change anything (except the bottom line for war profiteers)?

If the U.S. had decided to be a moral people, and leaving Iraqi oil alone, decided to develop the South Western deserts, with the technology of the times, solar/thermal installations, for the same amount of money as that war cost, today we would be tapping into the largest, renewable, sustainable, energy source the world has ever known. It would have paid every energy bill in the U.S.A. for maintenance fees only, FOREVER! It is an oil well that can never run dry! After the millions of murders, and billions of dollars borrowed from our children’s futures and spent, with thousands of our own and others maimed and disfigured for life, millions of families utterly destroyed, ours and theirs, we are no closer to Iraqi oil production than the Iraqis are!
The next time you hear a blithering idiot spoiled brat drunken drug addict rich little daddie’s boy sociopath stand at a microphone and threaten your safety with someone else’s weapons, remember what you lost America, remember, and weep!

The cover offers as good an editorial as any I’ve seen! According to this cover it is quite obvious, because McCain is pictured on the right (correct) side of the issue, and Obama is an on-looker on the left. In case these visual cues were not enough, notice the bright yellow light streaming - pointing- towards McCain as if to answer the question.

With covers like this, I guess we will have four more years of Bush.

Ron Paul…He is the only one who takes the US Constitution seriously as well as the advise of the Founding Fathers to avoid entangling alliances.

He would bring home our troops from over 700 military bases in over 120 countries and protect our own borders.

Efforts are being made to have Ron Paul chosen to be the Republican nominee for president. He would be better than the others regarding domestic and foreign affairs.

The presupposition in the headline is a lie.

The world needs to be made safe from America, not the other way around. America is holding the world hostage with a stockpile of weapons so horrible that they could exterminate all life on earth.

Everything else is a misdirection. No country on earth, particularly a little desert nation, could harm us more than the sting of a gnat. And if we behaved differently on the world stage, bombing fewer countries and supporting fewer deathsquad dictatorships, no country would WANT to harm us.

Our country can’t endure more years of Republican leadership. They are responsible for the mess we’re in right now, and safety is not the only issue. The finances used to continue this war should be used to repair the damage to our economy, our environment, and to strengthen our military force at home. We also need a change in administration to gain the respect of other countries once again.

Barack Obama.

Why?

Let me break it to all of you softly; Our problems cannot just be solved by increasing border security, scaring the crap out of Americans, and claiming that those radical terrorists are everywhere, so be on the lookout.

No, we can only solve it by creating a network that not only negotiates with foreign countries, but also increases world opinion of our country. Only Barack Obama offers that.

Second, McCain supports the continuation of ignoring talks with countries we don’t agree with–that is a failed plan that can only lead to war.

Third, Obama is extremely favored by the world, compared to our nation. In fact, one national poll suggests an 80% approval rate for Obama to be our next president.

Some would argue its because they know Obama is weak (?? PROVE THAT) BUt I would argue that it is because they know that for once, we will have a leader that is reasonable, sane, and ready to work with our nation, here at home, and fix the economy, thereby helping the economy of multiple allies. They also know that Obama will work with the world on peaceful terms, but will maintain a strike force in the middle east, while pulling troops back home.

His plan is the right one. Fall behind Obama, or fall behind.

Your choice.

But remember this– Our nation was founded under the principles of liberty, freedom, and opportunity. Remember that the next time you thin about a candidate…and don’t vote based on fear, or bigotry. Don’t claim obama is a muslim radical, etc.

RESEARCH AND MAKE AN “INFORMED” decision. Not one based on rumors, and ideas rooted in racism and darkness.

Think about our future…The youth support Obama for a reason…

McCain.

Obama thinks talking to rogue nations will be enough to convince them to be peaceful. He’s flip-flopped on Iraq, Iran and Israel. Obama doesn’t stand for anything and he’ll fall for anything. Obama’s best friends are criminals, terrorists and racists. If he was so good as talking people into doing the right thing, maybe his friends wouldn’t be making the news for so many bad things.

For everyone who thinks that there is not a terrorist threat dedicating their life and death to destroying the West, not just the US.

I recommend that you watch this trailer, it is from “Their” Propaganda. If you can’t believe our President, then maybe you can believe the words and deeds of those who wish and are trying to destroy us.

Ron Paul is the only one that can see through the BS lies about the war and can keep us safe.
