LIFE & STYLE’S CONFUSING COVER

Oh, this cover is BAD.

Life & Style’s headline “From Party Girls to Moms” makes me think I’m going to get a story about these young Hollywood stars giving up their partying ways.

Translation: How fun people became boring people. Do you want to read that story?

On another note, this cover is confusing.

They dek says they are struggling to be good moms followed by the question “Have they really changed?”

The lines under each star should show that they haven’t changed - right? But the only one that looks like she’s still partying is Christina.

Jamie Lynn has barely had time to get home with her new baby and Nicole is switching from drugs to diapers (nice alliteration.)

Bottom Line: A confusing cover will result in an abysmal sale - well below rate base again. Plus, with sister title In Touch delivering a strong body cover and OK Magazine featuring Tori’s baby pics, Life & Style is screwed in the $2.99 market.
