NATIONAL ENQUIRER PICKS THE WRONG COVER STORY

The two stronger stories on the National Enquirer are the insets.

First - you have Heather Locklear in rehab. In a few moments, you’ll see People Magazine’s cover which dedicates its main cover to Heather.

Next you have the “High School Pregnancy Pact” story, which is big news.

But, for some reason, the National Enquirer goes for another Dr. Phil story. I don’t get it.

Bottom Line: National Enquirer will do well if newsstand buyers read the sidebar. (Most do not read the sidebar.)
