FANSITE PROFILE: SIMPLYBRAD.COM CELEBRATES THREE YEAR ANNIVERSARY

In the celebrity world, there are many dedicated fans who are creating innovative fan sites to celebrate the stars. At CoverAwards, today we are starting a new feature covering these endeavors.

Kicking it off is SimplyBrad.com, which focuses on covering the professional life and times of Brad Pitt.

The site went online in July 2005 and is celebrating its third anniversary this week.

“I’ve been a fan of Brad’s movies since Legends of the Fall,” said site founder Josan.

Recently, Brad’s been “doing more and more humanitarian work” and that is why Josan is dedicating his time to the site.

Like many, Josan is “bored and annoyed” by the ongoing tabloid coverage of Brad & Angelina. “I tend to use only the information from ‘reliable’ web sites like Variety and do not spend any time reading or visiting the gossip pages and rumors. It is sickening.”

SimplyBrad.com is unique because the site “only shares reliable information, and focuses on his work — not his personal life.

I’m honored to be a mod at SB forum, and I here publicly want to congratulate Josan for her hard work at the site and forum. It’s a joy to share my dedication to Brad Pitt with a bunch of very special people a the site. And thank you Mark for choosing SB as your first site.
