MARTHA STEWART: YOU’RE LATE!
What’s Martha late about?
She’s late on bringing in other “stars” into her empire.
This month’s “Everyday Food” features the initial issue with Emeril Lagasse.
While I can’t argue with Martha’s incredible success, this type of move should have been done years ago. (Like years before she went to jail - sorry to bring up a soar topic Martha!)
And at this point, Emeril’s popularity isn’t the same it was a few years ago.
Martha should take a cue from Oprah and invite in up-and-coming stars like Nate Berkus.
This may be a tough move for Martha ’cause these types of individuals could easily steal the spotlight from her.
But after Martha retires, what happens to her empire? I don’t think there is anyone to take her place at this point — and that’s not a good thing.
