QUICK & SIMPLES FINAL ISSUE: Should I Kick a Dead Horse?

I admit I felt a tear drop roll down my face as I saw the final issue of Quick & Simple on the newsstand (I later discovered I was suffering an allergy attack).

And as I looked at this cover, it…

once again became painfully clear why this magazine failed.

Why on earth would Quick & Simple feature Oprah’s favorite summer treats and not put her picture on the cover.

Not to mention, didn’t Oprah just finish that whole 21-day cleanse diet.

This cover looks like the rest of Quick & Simple’s sad history.

Farewell Quick & Simple. You provided me with great entertainment while you were on the newsstand.

And to answer my question in the headline, the answer is clearly yes.
