There are two of the biggest tabloid stories in history happening right before our very eyes.
From Christie Brinkley’s divorce to the Madonna/A-Rod scandal…
these are two stories I would expect to see on the main cover of both of these magazines.
It’s possible that these magazines were trying to counter program against the competition and made this choice based on that strategy.
But that’s the wrong way to select a main cover topic.
Rule number one is “what is everybody talking about.” Who is talking about Mary Tyler Moore or Cher?
Bottom Line: I’m disappointed.
