John McCain, who with his wife, Cindy McCain, has an adopted daughter, said flatly that he opposed allowing gay couples to adopt, in today’s New York Times.
“I think that we’ve proven that both parents are important in the success of a family so, no, I don’t believe in gay adoption,” he said.

Both parents are important. Parents can be a man and a man, a woman and a man, and a woman and a woman. Children need secure loving families.Children have to be wanted.Mc Cain is way off base.
