Despite retiring, Brett Favre wants to play football for the team that he gave 16 seasons, three MVP awards, and a Superbowl Championship.

However, having Favre under contract for two more years, the Green Bay Packers’ front office is flexing their legal muscle to keep off of the playing field.

“Give me my helmet, welcome back, or release me, or attempt to trade me,” Favre said in an interview with Greta Van Susteren.

Brett Favre brought the Green Bay franchise back on the sports map. He deserves what he is asking for.
