Vice Presidential candidate Sen. John Edwards was caught visiting his mistress and secret love child at 2:40 this morning in a Los Angeles hotel by the National Enquirer.
The married ex-senator from North Carolina – whose wife Elizabeth continues to battle cancer — met with his mistress, blonde divorcée Rielle Hunter, at the Beverly Hilton on Monday night, July 21 – and the National Enquirer was there!
He didn’t leave until early the next morning.
Usually, at this point, it would be easy to say something like – oh – it’s the National Enquirer – blah, blah, blah…But, it’s a pretty expansive piece. Judge for yourself.

This is the only reason that makes sense of why Edwards dropped out of the race. What ammunition that would have been in Rove’s hands!

Why is the national news so quite about this? If this was a republican they would be all over it. This guy is a leading Democratic senator and the media is this country is censoring news because it doesnt fit their agenda. How PATHETIC. I HATE THE NATIONAL NEWS. They spoon feed us crap they want us to know. We are all brain washed.

The national news will jump all over a Republican Senator getting a hand job in a public bathroom but they stay silent when a Democratic senator is cheating on his wife, who has cancer, and has a child out of wedlock. The National News isn’t NEWS anymore, its left wing propaganda. We can’t even get the straight up facts anymore. People are brain washed and spoon fed the news that ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and HOLLYWOOD wants you to hear, not what is really happing in the world. WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GOING TO SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?
Hell I saw a hit piece on Michael Savage this morning on the Today show just because he said kids are being misdiagnosed with autism. The Today Show did a hit piece referring to people to boycott his sponsors. I don’t care what the hell he said, he has freedom of speech rights and the NATIONAL NEWS NETWORKS have no right attacking someone because they have the ability to do so. The power of the media is out of control. Quote, “Following the remarks, autism activists and parents are now calling for Savage’s job.” WHO IN THE HELL GAVE THESE ACTIVISTS THE RIGHT TO TAKE AWAY OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH? Who cares what he said? Turn the damn station if you don’t like it. THE MEDIA IS LEADING US AROUND LIKE SHEEP PEOPLE. WAKE UP AND STOP BELIEVING THIS GARBAGE.
The Democrats have tried to compete with Conservative Talk Radio with Air America and it has miserably failed. So now these networks at every opportunity do hit pieces on them to try and get sponsors to stop advertising with them.
The Democrats in Congress want to pass the Fairness Doctrine to allow equal time on talk radio, while totally ignoring the fact that they dominate the National News, American Universities and local and state governments. They want to silence the Republicans and claim it’s in all due fairness.
Hell I can’t even download a conservative talk radio show off of iTunes without first filtering my way through all the Liberal crap first. Even though the conservative talk shows blow the other shows away in ratings.
How is this Democracy people? How is this Constitutional? How does this preserve our Liberties? The answer is it doesn’t. This kind of behavior is destructive and needs to stop.
I find this so sad. I’m still hoping it isn’t true. I respected Edwards and thought that he dropped out of the race to have more time for his ill wife. She’s a strong and good lady. I hope she doesn’t have to cope with his cheating as well as cancer.
i am getting really tired of all the gotcha stories regardless of whether or not it is about a democrat or a republican. i feel sorry for the spouses caught in the middle of all these tell-alls which may not even be fully vetted but still cast a pall over their lives. i also think that our society is being dumbed down with all of this ridiculous coverage of gossip and innuendo instead of important news!
