GLOBE'S SAD WINNING COVER FEATURING PAUL NEWMAN

Let me share with you a secret.

The key to success for the tabloids is finding the right photo.

Duh! You know that by now.

And the Globe is a master at doing this.

Don’t get me wrong.

This story is a terribly sad story – but it looks real – especially with the photo of Paul Newman in a wheelchair.

But, it effectively illustrates the cover line.

The added inset of Paul Newman is also a nice touch.

Bottom Line: The glossies can always go to school at the Globe – at least when it comes to finding the right photo for a cover.
