HOLY COW! Steve Bartman Offered $25,000 for One Autograph: Yes, That Cubs Fan!
A sports memorabilia convention is offering $25,000 to Steve Bartman—the infamous Cubs fan known for knocking a foul ball away from Moises Alou in 2003—for one autographed baseball.
“All he has to do is show up on Thursday July 31, 2008 at 1:00 PM, prove that he is the Steve Bartman pictured in this photo, sign the photo and the $25,000 is his,” says Nsccshow.com.
The money made off of the ball will be donated to a local charity.
