Lisa Marie Presley’s secret shame is that she is allegedly one big druggie.
And newsstand buyers will believe this to be the case by the way this cover is presented.
Why?
Lisa Marie’s picture is so big - the editors are hoping you simply believe it’s her problem. And there’s a picture inset of her mom Priscilla Presley.
But, of course, it’s misleading.
The story is about her “brother’s drug den.”
Yes, the editors say that on the cover but it’s so small you barely notice the type.
Plus, I didn’t even know she had a brother. Did you?
And there’s the rub. What do you do when you have a big story - but it’s not about the the big celebrity in the family?
You create a cover like this one.
Bottom Line: It doesn’t matter.
