Nothing. 

As Christian Bale’s media tour for Dark Knight continues, so does his silence on his recent assault arrest. During a recent press conference at Tokyo’s Grand Hyatt, Bale would only say, “It’s a private matter.”

He was also silent on the issue during the Japanese premier. 

A humble  suggestion to reporters: Try a different route of question like, “If Batman still had a mother and was going to allegedly assault her, how do you think he would feel?  No.  What about Bruce Wayne?  How would he feel?”

Bale has not yet been charged, but is due backat London’s Belgravia police station in September.
