THE MONTAUK MONSTER: What Is It?

The photo, posted first on Gawker.com, of the bloated sea monster has been all over the news lately. The woman who took it swears it is not part of a marketing stunt and plenty of people testify that they have seen it on the beach.

So any guesses as to what this thing is? Click here for a picture. Is it a turtle with its shell off? A dog-pig? An alien? A Racoon? A piece of latex artwork? Or perhaps, a relic of the dinosaur era? It’s like a rorschach test for your worst nightmare.
