Are John McCain's $520 Shoes Excessive? Wouldn't He Attack Barack Obama for the Same Type of Thing?

John McCain was spotted in his $520 Ferragamo “Pregiato” moccasins on nearly every campaign stop in July, including a meeting with the Dalai Lama and a discount grocery shopping trip with a family in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, reports the Huffington Post.

Does his excessive spending on shoes mean he’s out of touch with the typical American voter as as this New York Magazine cover above said “clueless”?
