MCCAIN: Let Barack Obama Pick his VP First?
John McCain may wait to announce his running mate until Barack Obama announces his own.
“We’d be stupid to pick before they do,” said one top McCain adviser. “If they go first, you have more information.”
Some Bush loyalists prefer to have McCain announce first so the Republicans can deputize their campaign strategy.
