John Edwards Admits to Affair!

The National Enquirer broke the big John Edwards’ affair story.

And this week published pictures of John Edwards’ love child.

And today, John Edwards confirms the embarrassing news that he was indeed involved in an affair while his wife Elizabeth was suffering from cancer.

John Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff that “he did have an affair with 44-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her.”

Edwards denied he was the father of Hunter’s baby girl, Frances Quinn, but he has not taken a paternity test.

Edwards claims that based on the timing that it’s not possible that the child is his.

For Edwards, making the announcement today is perfect timing. We have the opening ceremony of the Olympics tonight and it’s a summer Friday.
