Janice Min: Why do you Hate Fat People?

I have to say this statement from Janice Min surprised even me.

It might be something she thought, but to actually say this out loud and to another reporter:

Page Six reports that while bragging to media trade mag MIN about her celebrity glossy, the editor-in-chief said, “We proved that celebrity-magazine readers were not obese women who spent all day watching TV and smoking cigarettes. They are young and well-educated. They want a magazine that gives them a fun break from work and family responsibilities.”

How did she prove this?  Did she force all of her readers to step on to a scale and weigh themselves?  And how does she know that her readers don’t smoke?
