CoverAwards' Exclusive: People Magazine's HUGE Disappointment with Brad & Angelina Twins' Cover

According to an industry source exclusively to CoverAwards, the People Magazine cover featuring Brad Pitt and Angelina’s twins allegedly sold 2.5 million copies on the newsstand.

What were they expecting to sell?

If this is the case, it would be a “huge disappointment as Time Inc. was predicting it would be well over 3 million after spending nearly $6 million,” according to the source.

Is this news surprising to you?

It’s not to me.

While 2.5 million is way above the magazine’s average, this marks Brangelina fatigue. I think the general public has simply had enough.

And unfortunately for People Magazine, the photo that was used on the cover simply was not that good. Believe it or not, the cover would have done better if they used that cute Shiloh picture on the top right where she’s holding one of the twins.

Well, maybe Brad & Angelina can finally take a break from adopting and having kids They certainly won’t be receiving this amount of money the next time!
