Us is Just Like Everybody Else: They Make Mistakes (UPDATE: And They Correct Them When They Can!)

Janice Min and the Us Weekly team have had a fun time pointing out the alleged wrong-doings of the “other” celebrity weeklies.

Well turnabout is fair play.

Today, OK Magazine is pointing out an error in Us Weekly’s reporting of the release date of Lynn Spears’ book, Through the Storm.

Us reported that book would “hit shelves on Aug. 21, almost a month ahead of the original street date.”

And now OK is pointing out that is a bit of an oops.

“A source inside Thomas Nelson, the book’s publisher, confirms to OK! that Lynne’s book will be released on Sept. 16.”

I hope it’s still warm in September because I know I’ll be camping out at Barnes & Noble.

Update: Us Weekly has since updated its web site.  And there is peace again in the celebrity weekly world.
