My first reaction to this cover was that I wasn’t surprised.

Nothing about Jamie Lynn Spears’ life is really shocking. Is it?

This week’s issue of In Touch features a picture of Jamie Lynn’s “baby daddy” Casey Aldridge caught with Kelli Dawson, described as the “other woman.”

According to the mag, Casey cheating on Jamie Lynn Spears with this 28-year-old Jamie Lynn look-a-like and it lasted for twelve months.

So what’s inside In Touch?

Kelli reveals that she was sleeping with Casey while Jamie Lynn “was six months pregnant with his child.”

NOW THERE’S THE BIG EMOTIONAL STORY. But, it’s BURIED INSIDE THE MAGAZINE!

Sure, you don’t want to give away the store when you have a cover story like this. But, this point would have made the cover MUCH STRONGER.

Instead, we have Casey had an affair – blah, blah, blah.

Bottom Line: Bury the lead, and sadly you bury your sales.
