• Send short emails with updates – then you won’t here from s/he as often
• Over-respond – complete tasks right away and you’ll enjoy more time to yourself
• Hang up the phone – if you don’t like your boss’ tone of voice, YES, hang up.  They will call back with a more pleasant demeanor.  (not sure how long you can get away with this one.)
