BAD NEWS MUGGLES: Harry Potter Movie Delayed

Looks like Harry won’t be returning to Hogwarts as soon as expected. Warner Brothers has moved back the release date from November to July 2009 due to the writer strike.

“Like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films — changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of,” Warner president Alan Horn said in a statement.

Until then, I guess the trailer is all we’ve got.
