Football Great Gene Upshaw is Dead

Gene Upshaw, the longtime head of the NFL Players Association and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, has died of pancreatic cancer. His death was first reported early Thursday morning by Clear Channel Online and confirmed to The New York Times by the union. He was 63.
