NBC RECEIVES COMPLAINTS OF OLYMPIC HOMOPHOBIA

NBC has received complaints that its coverage of the Olympics had moments of homophobia, specifically regarding gold-medalist diver Matthew Mitcham.

“We regret that we missed the opportunity to tell Matthew Mitcham’s story. We apologize for this unintentional omission,” said an NBC rep.
