Stand Up To Cancer: How to Contribute
The three major networks, ABC, NBC and CBS, joined forces tonight and simulcasted a live one-hour fundraiser called Stand Up To Cancer.
Katie Couric, Brian Williams and Charlie Gibson co-hosted and participants included Christina Applegate, Jennifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst, Fran Drescher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Masi Oka, America Ferrera, Lance Armstrong, Meryl Streep, Forest Whitaker, Charlize Theron and Hilary Swank.
A sing-along charity single was also featured, “Just Stand Up,” produced by L.A. Reid and “Babyface” Edmonds. Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood all lended their talent.
