But apparently the editorialising of the campaign wasn’t building a large enough audience.

In a BIG weekend shake-up, MSNBC decided that David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night.

Olbermann and Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage, according to the New York Times.
