Don't Worry About the Polls says Obama Campaign
With the most recent polls showing McCain taking the national lead in the 2008 Presidential Race, democratic campaign manager David Plouffe remained calm, stating that “there’s a lot of hyperventilating about the national polls.”
In an interview with CBS reporter John Bentley, Plouffe said that McCain began his campaign stressing experience; however, now is trying to make the election about change.
When it comes down to winning the election, Plouffe believes undecided voters in battleground states will determine the next President.
“We have a more credible path to 270 [electoral votes] than McCain does,” says Plouffe.
