Gary Sheffield Hits Major League Baseball's 250,000th Home Run!

Last night Major League Baseball hit a significant milestone thanks to the Detroit Tiger’s Gary Sheffield, who hit the 249,999th home run and the 250,000th home run in Major League Baseball history.

Both were hit off of Oakland A’s pitcher Gio Gonzalez.

Gary Sheffield still needs four home runs to reach 500. The Detroit Tigers beat the Oakland Athletics 14-8, reports ESPN.
